Located in Rocky Mountain NP, this was the first national park hike that I took with my grandchildren, so it is dear to my heart. The path, water, mountains, and a herd of elk at the treeline combined to make this a majestic moment. The original prototype piece was a birthday/house warming gift to my daughter. The revision utilized receding texture, color control, and plating (layering) of portions behind frosted glass to enhance the perception of depth.
